He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Gorka and Clara Gorka (Stahura); and his wife Carolyn Mullen. He is survived by: his children, Tammy Walter of Hayward and Donald Gorka of Mosinee, WI; and his siblings, Randy Gorka (Shirley) of Mosinee, WI, Joseph Gorka (Candy) of Mosinee, WI, Rodney Gorka (Barb) of Mosinee, WI and Margaret "Peggy" Van Price (Greg) of Texas. He is also survived by three nephews and three nieces.
He was a member of the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation and the National Rifle Association.
