He was predeceased by: his parents, Patrick and Mary Ellen Baker (Smith); his grandfather Charles Smith; his siblings, Lawrence Baker, Sylba Adams "Charles" Baker Sr., Odric Baker Sr., Patrick Baker, Alvin Baker Sr. and Nola Elizabeth Baker; and his grandparents, Margaret Smith (Crow), Henry and Rose Baker (Mitchell).
He is survived by: his children, Netahwis Baker, Kateri Wheelock (Jeremy) and David Baker Jr.; and his sister Maryellen Baker. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
