Carmen G. Gorud Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carmen G. Gorud of Hayward, Wisconsin, who passed away on December 7, 2023 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Carmen farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Carmen is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She is survived by: her brother Jack V. Goltry; her sons, Jason Gorud, Eric Gorud and James M. Gorud; and her grandson Tristan Gorud.
Her contributions to the lives of many include a career of teaching in the Northwoods School District, a successful forensics coach, and years of volunteering for the community.
