He is survived by: his children, Mark Borchardt of Vancouver, WA, Martha Franklin of Tucson, AZ and Kurt Borchardt (Michelle) of Portland, OR; his sisters, Carol Borchardt of Madisonville, KY and Lois Blumhorst (Tom) of Puyallup, WA; and his brother-in-law Bob Hames of Northbrook, IL. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
