He was predeceased by: his parents, Wallace Nehls and Norma Nehls (Thompson); his wife Betty Fancher; and his brothers, Pete, Ronnie and Keith.
He is survived by: his children, Michael Nehls (Debbie), Chris Nehls and Tim Nehls (Saundra); his grandchildren, Jessica Nehls, Mikey Nehls (Nikki), Daniel Nehls, Erica Jenson (Sam) and Jordan Nehls; and his great grandchildren, Casten, Chloe Starks, Kobe Zigler, Nova Nehls, Mack Nehls, Wally Nehls and Sullivan Jenson. He is also survived by children and grandchildren.
The family has designated the Alzheimer's Foundation for memorial contributions.
