It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Frances Merkel (Hawthorne, Wisconsin), who passed away on March 7, 2018, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Ruben Hiram Merkel; and her siblings, Florence Guetz and Lyle Mudge. She is survived by: her sisters, Mary Hardy, Donys Nelson and Doris Pater; and her sons, Michael Merkel and Patrick Merkel. She is also survived by her seven grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.
