He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Wermter and Jane Wermter (Pederson); his stepfather Vern Pankow; and his brother Dwayne. He is survived by: his son Jean Wermter (Pederson); his wife Debra Wermter; his children, Bradley Wermter (Cammilla Carlton), Scott Wermter, Amy Wermter (Marc Anderson) and Paula Hoffer (William); his grandchildren, Ashli Giles (Dan), Donovan Luoma, Drew Stribley, Dalton Luoma, Felicia Stribley, Haylei Wermter, Reese Hoffer, Taylor, Ryan and Morgan Anderson; his great grandchildren, Bentley Luoma and Noah Giles; his siblings, Gloria, James, Debbie Wermter, Lucy Goneau, Sharon Johnson and Shelly Suhonen; and his close friends, Wes Little, Cal Ruska, Frank Schwirtz, Randy Hurst, Rollie Edman and Jeff Pederson.
In lieu of floral arrangements, the family is designating monetary donations for a living tree and bench to be planted and established at The Road House Bar which will be enjoyed by all wishing to visit.
