He was predeceased by: his father Orville Meyer; his nephew Trevor; and his grandparents, Vivian Meyer, Ed and Alvina Nievinski.

He is survived by: his mother Pamela Meyer (Nievinski); his daughter Kendra; his sister Melanie Meyer; and his nephew Jordan Monette. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, an educational memorial fund is being established for the benefit of his daughter, Kendra.
