He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Harold Nowinski and Hildegarde Nowinski; his wife Lorraine Steinke; his brother Sid; his daughters, Karla Makuski (Chuck) and Tammy Resch (Terry); his grandsons, Aaron, Clayt Zogata, Dustin (Megan) and Nate Resch (Megan); his great grandchildren, Rhylee, Rayna, Reed, Addison, Avery, McKenna, Harper and Sophie; and also Sheila Mabry (Ostrowski). He was also cherished by Nieces and Nephews.

Per David's request due to COVID, a private family service will be held at John J. Buettgen Funeral Home, Schofield with Military rites.
