He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard and Mabel; and his siblings, Melvina, Sherry and Jerome.
He is survived by: his wife Julie Staupe; his child Shannon; his grandchildren, Ashley and Alex Voss; his stepchildren, Jennifer Purcell (John), Nicole Mosca and Ralph Mosca (Cami); his stepgrandchildren, Makayla Mosca-Schmidt, Heather Skutak, Holly Purcell, Evalynn Mosca, Alec, Heaven, Austin and Emma Lesher; and his siblings, JoAnne Nehs, Wayne Staupe (Judy), Larry Staupe (Paula), Linda Honeyager and Jeff Staupe (Tammy). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated to either the Fisher House Foundation (fisherhouse.org) or the Wounded Warrior Project (woundedwarriorproject.org).
