We are sad to announce that on December 11, 2022, at the age of 98, Viola L. Cannistra of Hartland, Wisconsin, born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Laube and Caroline Laube; and her brothers, Herbert, Walter and Clarence "Clary" Laube.
She is survived by: her children, Jan Hawkins (Chick), Mark Cannistra, Charlie Cannistra, Carol Persohn (Jim) and Annie Cannistra (Bob Easey); her grandchildren, Dan Hawkins (Timberly), Nik Hawkins (Marit), Chris Cannistra (Caroline), Ashley Blanton (Justin), Alexandra Malone (Michael), Alivia Cannistra, Jennifer Weber (David), Jessica Tipple, Carla Chase (James), Joe Cannistra, Megan Spindler (Phil), Lisa Persohn, Kyle Persohn, Jacqueline Wu (Tim) and Corey Dietz (Ryan); her great grandchildren, Ainsley, Duncan Hawkins, Callan, Bryn Hawkins, Reagan Cannistra, Chloe, Sophia Blanton, Evelyn, Ellis Malone, Grace, Emma Weber, Hannah Mack (Justin), Elle, Cameron Tipple, Cassie, Allie Chase, Kaylin, Nathan Spindler, Henry and George Wu; her uncle Theodor; her aunt Matilda Laube; her cousin Olga; her stepsister Gina; her husband Joseph "Joe" Cannistra; her son Kurt (Adele); and her grandchildren, Camden and Jackson Kujawa. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
