He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Washburn and Nevah Washburn; and his sisters, Beverly and Jerilyn. He is survived by: his wife Ethelou Gunderson; and his stepchildren, Jeffrey, James, John, Jerry and Jill. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
