Though Rita may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Rita touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas "Rusty" Shaughnessy and Ruth Shaughnessy. She is survived by: her brother John; her great great grandchild Elliot; her friends, Lola and Mary; her grandson Luke; her daughter Marie; and her grandchildren, Raymond, Molly and Elizabeth. She is also survived by twelve great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 27th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Charles Parish (313 Circle Dr, Hartland, WI 53029). A Mass will be held on Friday, September 27th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, September 27th 2024 at 12:30 PM at the St. Charles Cemetery.
