He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Higgins and Ida Higgins (Rickerman); his son Jeff Higgins; and his siblings, Michael Higgins and Ida Trimborn.
He is survived by: his wife Connie; his children, James Higgins (Jackie), Duane Scherret (Brenda), Jayne Wais (Chuck), Beth Kannenberg (Ed), Patrick Higgins and Margaret Logan (Bob); and his siblings, Juanita Pitterle (Duane), Muriel Talda (Paul), Dolores Higgins (Rich), Mark Higgins, Peter Higgins (Veronica) and William Higgins (Diane). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and in-laws.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Dr. Martin Luther Church, 325 S. Main Street, Oconomowoc, WI 53066.
