He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Marilynn; his children, Jodi Brezenski (Brian) and Jason Ripple (Anne); his grandchildren, Will, Emma, Greta, L. J. and Charlie; his sister-in-law Carol Ott (Armin); and his nephews, John (Kristen) and Chris Hunt (Erin).

In lieu of flowers, memorials appreciated to Skin Cancer Foundation.
