It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph Fredrick Runte (Hartland, Wisconsin), born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, who passed away on November 3, 2020, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph A. Runte and Adell Runte (Spencer); and his sisters, Margaret Dibbert (Herald), Elizabeth Schaefer (Edward), Caroline Schaefer (Arthur), Judith Pollich (Walter) and Mary.
He is survived by: his wife Joan; his children, Joe (Jean), Dawn Schoen (Bob) and Ken "Chip" (Donna); his grandchildren, Joey, Amber Groth (Evan), Bob Jr. Schoen (Jessica), Sarah Schoen (Dion Ashley), Katelyn Nelson (Kiegan) and Tyler; and his great grandchildren, Payton, Nia, Charlotte, Porter, Evelyn and Georgia. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
