John Jay Rix Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of John Jay Rix of Hartland, Wisconsin, born in Pleasant Ridge, Michigan, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 18, 2024 at the age of 91. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Lloyd and Ida Dorothy Rix; his brother Robert; and his sister-in-law Janet. He is survived by: his wife Susan Engelberth; his sons, Glenn and David; his daughters-in-law, Jeanne and Kathy; and also, Judy and Cathy Rix.

John and Susan divided their time between Hartland, WI and Bonita Springs, FL and enjoyed traveling until the Covid-19 pandemic and John's declining health prevented it.
