Gary W. Hassler Obituary
Gary W. Hassler aka "Buck" & "Candyman" passed away peacefully on May 5, 2023 at the age of 82. He is survived by his beloved wife of 63 years Janna Hassler. Gary was born in Milwaukee on October 27, 1940, a son of Frank and Dorothy Hassler. Gary is survived by his brother Wayne "Butch" Hassler.
Gary is preceded in death by his grandson Ryan Mercier. Gary is survived by his children Terry (Jim) Mercier, Kim (Kel) Bacon, Jeffrey and Jonathan Hassler. Gary is a grandfather to 19 grandchildren Andy Mercier, Nick Mercier, Jacob Mercier, Kyle Bacon, Josh Bacon, Travis Bacon, Ali Abt, Melissa Gorall, Brittany Hassler, Emmah Hassler, Jakob Hassler, Ashlyn Hassler, Evan Hassler, Nathan Hassler, Caitlin Hassler, Hannah Hassler, Marshall, Hassler, and Lily Hassler. Gary is survived by 20 great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, and other relatives. Services for Gary will be held on Wednesday May 17th at the First Baptist Church of Hartland. Visitation will begin at 9:00 AM with the funeral service to follow at 10:30. Pastor Chris Pyatt officiating.
