Elizabeth Wollner Obituary

Elizabeth "Libby" Maria Wollner was born in Zacapa, Guatemala on October 18, 2006, and came home to her forever family in Sussex, WI, on June 12, 2007. She danced into the arms of Jesus on January 19, 2022.

Libby is survived by her parents, Ben and Jen Wollner, and her brothers, Clayton and JP. She is further survived by grandparents, John and Marjorie Lincoln, Bonnie Jaskolka, and Chuck and Lee Ann Jaskolka; aunts and uncles, Andy (Bonnie) Lincoln, Stephanie (Mike) James, Chris Lincoln, Charlie (Julie) Jaskolka, Sarah Jaskolka, Sydney (Brent) Olson, Siena Jaskolka and Eli Jaskolka; and cousins, Derek Lincoln, Tyren and Ashton Lincoln, Maddie, Luke and Liz James, and Declan and Ashlyn Jaskolka. Libby was preceded in death by her grandfather, Mark Wollner, and her uncle, Jason Lincoln.

Libby was a sweet, compassionate young woman who always had a bright smile on her face. She loved her family and friends, horse riding, music, The Olive Garden, animals of all kinds, Kit Kat bars, and arts and crafts projects. She was generous and kind, always looking for ways to serve and bless other people. She was a gift-giver at heart! She had a solid faith in Jesus as her Savior, and participated in church youth group activities and Bible studies. In her free time, she enjoyed singing and writing songs, drawing in her sketchbook, skiing, watching movies, crocheting, and devouring as many books as she could get her hands on.

Libby was a freshman at Living Word Lutheran High School in Jackson, WI. She was a member of the dance team and student council. She was also part of the youth worship band at Oakwood Church in Hartland, WI. Over the years, she served her community by volunteering at LifeStriders and the Humane Society, assisting with Sunday School classes, and working with underprivileged children on a mission trip with her youth group. She also found joy in regularly helping family, friends and neighbors in whatever ways they needed. She will forever be remembered as loving, adventurous and full of energy!

A Celebration of Life for Libby Wollner will be on Saturday, January 29, 2022, at Oakwood Church (3041 Oakwood Road, Hartland, WI 53029). A visitation will be held from 12:30-3:00 p.m. with the service beginning at 3:00 p.m.

Eve Bruce wrote a sympathy message

“My sympathies to your family and Libby's friends. I enjoyed having Libby and her brothers as media center users at Woodside. Libby was sunshine inside even when the sky was cloudy outside the IMC windows. Her journey ended way too soon, but the quality of her life is commendable and far more than what many ever accomplish. My prayers will include both you and Libby in the days ahead. Eve Bruce”
