He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Dolores Lanzara; his children, Patricia Lanzara, Theresa Custer (Dave), Angella Kirby (Chalice) and Mark Kirby (Mary); his grandchildren, Stephen Custer, Kevin Custer (Becca), Nick Custer (Sarah) and Kyrsten Kirby; his sisters, Tina Piotti and Marie Malvoso (Marty); his nephew Vinnie Malvoso; his niece Susan Piotti-Dwyer; and his parents, Joseph Lanzara and Michelina Lanzara.

Memorials may be made to the American Lung Association or the American Heart Association in lieu of flowers.
