With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Walter J. Oelhafen (Hartford, Wisconsin), born in Winner, South Dakota, who passed away on April 24, 2020 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Rev. Walter J. and Gertrude Oelhafen, Sr.. He is survived by: his wife Gretchen Oelhafen; his children, Rev. Scott Oelhafen (Christine) of Waukesha, WI and Kris Lindemann (Peter) of Egg Harbor, WI; his grandchildren, Stephen, Katherine, Hannah Oelhafen, Jason (Anika), Jared (Maggie), Jonas and Jackson Lindemann; and his sisters, Julia Averbeck (Robert) and Lois Bence-Ehlke (Bruce). He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
