She was predeceased by: her parents, Arlene Gutjahr and Glen Gutjahr; her grandson Micah LaSee; her brother Michael Gutjahr; and her niece Christa Fleischman.
She is survived by: her husband Michael Schmidt; her children, Connie LaSee (Steve) of Edgar, WI, Scott Schmidt (Andrea) of Germantown, WI and Brian Schmidt (Jennifer) of Osprey Fl; her grandchildren, Stephanie Burkholder (Justin), Stacey Hess (Eric), Sarah, Hannah, Rachel, Jonah LaSee, Nathan, Emily Schmidt, Mason and Parker Schmidt; her great grandchildren, Karissa, Brendal and Kayla Burkholder; and her siblings, Barbara Behnke (Robert "Pobe"), James "Jim" Gutjahr (Mary), Joan Fleischman (Albert), Ricky Gutjahr, Gregory Gutjahr (Kim), Cindy Amerling (David "Norbie") and Timothy "Chuck" Gutjahr (Debbie). She is also survived by many sisters and brothers-in-law, and other dear family and friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 11th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 5:45 PM at the St. Lawrence Catholic Church (4886 WI-175, Hartford, WI 53027). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday, December 11th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the same location. A committal service was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the same location.
Flowers will be accepted, or memorial contributions may be made to St. Lawrence 4-H Club, St. Lawrence Christian Women or St. Lawrence Parish.
