Sandra S. Kraemer Obituary

Sandra Suzanne Kraemer, age 85 of Hartford, WI passed away at Cedar Community in West Bend on June 10, 2023.

Sandra was born November 20, 1937, in Milwaukee, WI, to parents James and Beverly (nee Petersen) Stephens. She was united in marriage to husband Duane Kraemer, married for many years, happily raising three children together.

Sandra was a loving wife, amazing mother to 3 children, grandmother to 5 and great grandmother to 4. She helped provide for her family by caring for the baking and cooking and managing the household. She loved animals and enjoyed the horses and many dogs and cats that became a part of the family throughout the years. She enjoyed the outdoors. The crispness of fall and the snowy Christmas holiday. Her well-known Wizard of Oz ornaments, doll collection and family get togethers created lasting memories for everyone. Her hobbies included photography, reading Nora Roberts novels and listening to Kris Kristofferson. In the earlier years, Sandra was a nurse aid, which brought forth her gift of compassion and a willingness to help others.

Sandra is survived by her loving children, John (Ellen) Kraemer, and Tony Kraemer; cherished grandchildren, Jason (Christie) Kraemer, Michael Kraemer, Amber (Brandon) Benson, Jessica Moore, and Jacob Potter and great-grandchildren, Bradley, Audrey, James, and Marcus.

She is preceded in death by her beloved husband Duane, parents James and Beverly, daughter Sherry, and grandson Marcus. Sandra is further preceded by other loved ones and close friends.

John and Ellen would like to extend a sincere and special thanks to the entire staff at Cedar Community in West Bend, for their attentive care and compassion for their mom. They truly became a second family during her time living there.
