With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sandra Louise Washburn of Hartford, Wisconsin, born in West Bend, Wisconsin, who passed away on January 10, 2023 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Evelynn Gornjak and Fritz Gornjak; her parents-in-law, Gilbert B. and Florence B. Washburn; her husband Ed; her brothers, Gregory Gornjak and Bobby Gornjak; and her sisters-in-law, Phyllis Burg (Tom), Carol Gensmer and Delores Schickert.
She is survived by: her children, Lisa (Joanna Ralph) of West Dundee, IL, Matt Herbst (Christine) of West Bend, Mike Herbst (Alison) of Hartford, Todd Herbst (Colleen) of West Bend, Blake Washburn (Emmylou) of Hartford, Kimberly Ostranger (Patrick) of Greenfield, Chad (Bette) of Prairie and Chien; her grandchildren, Mya Washburn, Kaylene Kloety (Kyle), Kyle Herbst (Tayler Bettin), Amber Herbst, Ashley Maki (Ryen), Hailie Migdal (Jake) and Shiane Musser (Brandon); her great grandchild Asher; her brother Perry Gornjak; her brother-in-law Roger Washburn (Kathy); her nieces and nephews, Eddie (Pam), Betty Gensmer, Jimmy, Phyllis Schickert, Darryl (Jill) and Mickey Washburn; and her close friend Lou Smith. She is also survived by her family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the Senior Friends Center (730 Highland Ave, Hartford, WI 53027) in honor of Sandra are appreciated, as she highly enjoyed spending time there.
