He was predeceased by: his parents, Martin Gilbert and Mary Gilbert; and his brother Donald Gilbert. He is survived by: his children, Steven Gilbert (Kathy), Kevin Gilbert (Andrea) and Michelle Cemke (James); his grandchildren, Elizabeth Domkoski (Joe), Amanda Gilbert, April Gilbert, Adam Wygans (Meghan), Ryan Gilbert (Laura DeVoe), Reed Gilbert, Morgan Holmes, John Schaller, Jordan Schaller, Jessica Cemke, Jenna Cemke, Nick Cemke and Meghan Cemke; his great grandchildren, Joshua Moore, Alexzander Domkoski, Jaxson Domkoski, Lincoln Domkoski, Mackenzie Wygans and Brennen Wygans; and his sister Marlene Gilbert. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
