He was predeceased by: his parents, Hilda Hoffmann (Franzen) and Joseph Hoffmann. He is survived by: his wife Micki; his sons, Matt (Lena), Ben (Amy) and Greg (Liz); his grandchildren, Gabe, Abby, Drew, Anders and Alex; and his siblings, Michael (Jan), Helen Reinkober (Jim) and Don. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
