With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Myron Matthies (Hartford, Wisconsin), who passed away on October 18, 2019 at the age of 91. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Myron Matthies to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ervin Matthies and Lena Matthies; and his brother Donald. He is survived by: his wife Bethel Kahrs; his sons, Jon (Ekena) of Green Bay, Jeffrey (Juliana), Timothy (Lygia) of Lake Mills and Todd (Betty) of West Bend; his grandchildren, Timothy II (Rachel), Meghan Austin (Carlton), Kimberly Schmeling (Ryan), Jared (Danielle), Alison, Samuel (Chelsie), Marshall and Elise; and his sister Julane Konen of Fond. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials would be appreciated for Winnebago Lutheran Academy.
