He was predeceased by: his parents, Margaret L. Roemer and Donald C. Roemer; his parents-in-law, Arnold and Elfrieda Machmueller; and his aunts, Florence Bischoff and Mary Thomas Roemer.

He is survived by: his wife Janice Roemer; his son Richard C. Roemer (Julie) of Horicon; his grandchildren, Cody Michael Roemer of Horicon and Marcia Schabel (Todd) of Appleton; and his uncle Tom Lohr (Pat) of Beaver Dam. He is also survived by relatives and friends.
