She was predeceased by: her husband Ruben G. Gittel; her parents, Frank Persha and Helen Persha (Sertich); and her siblings, Dan, Mike, Walter, John, Steve, Emil, Nick Persha, Rose Hechimovich, Katherine Butina, Lucille Fetzer and Helen Roggenbauer. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Due to current COVID-19 restrictions, a private interment and prayer service will be held at Saint Kilian Cemetery, Hartford, Wisconsin.
