She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Jane and Jasper Booth; her husband John Gregory Purtell; her son Gregory (Millie); her grandsons, Jimmy, Scott and Randy; and her siblings, June Pennewell (Carl), Myrtle Zech (Harold) of Fort Atkinson, Eileen Lyons (Bob) of Madison, Donald (Gerry) of Beaver Dam, Robert (Elizabeth) of Horicon, George (Pearl) of Watertown and Winfield Booth of Clyman.
She is survived by: her children, Gerald (Virginia) of Hubertus, WI, Gilbert (Jean) of Hayward, WI, Gordon (Leslie) of Lisle, IL, John (Melana) of Neosho, WI, Michael (Val) of Hartford, WI, Eugene (Jolene) of Bark River, MI, MaryAnn Solberg (Steve) of Slinger, WI and Eileen Schmidt (Jeff) of Iron Ridge, WI; and her daughter-in-law Millie (Gregory) of Maryland.
Ironically, the church was closed due to the Spanish Flu pandemic of 1918.
