She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Tennies and Alice Tennies (Katzfey); her husband Darwin Christenson; her siblings, Joseph, Jerome Tennies (Vivian) and Mary Jane McCrackin (Roland); and her brother-in-law Raymond Peplinski.
She is survived by: her children, Robert (Millie), Lee (Vicki) and Bonnie Schowalter (Mike); her grandchildren, Shawn Christenson (Don), Troy Christenson (Jackie), Kristopher Christenson (Rachel) and Micah Schowalter (Joey); her great grandchildren, Ava Lee, Stella Blu, Grayson D., Asher D. and Nova C.; and her siblings, Betty Ann Peplinski and Franklin Tennies (Grace). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
