It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Katherine Jane Riedel of Hartford, Wisconsin, born in Alexandria, South Dakota, who passed away on January 30, 2024, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lorene McVay and John McVay; her parents-in-law, Marcus and Anna Riedel; her husband Marvin C. Riedel; and her siblings-in-law, Armin, Noreen, Archie, Marian, Evelyn, Harvey, Larry, Carolyn Riedel, Helen and Carl Nelson.
She is survived by: her daughters, Valerie Olson (Neil) of Kalispell, Montana, Wanda Casper (Dan) and Erin; her grandchildren, Alyssa, Justin Olson and Anamarie Casper; and her sister Ruth McVay. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
