She was predeceased by: her mother Gertrude Muesch, Sr. (Kümpel); her husband Willie; her father Joseph Muesch Sr.; her son James Pfeifer; her grandson Kyle Pfeifer; her brothers, Joseph Muesch Jr. and Henry Muesch; her parents-in-law, Evelyn and Nick Pfeifer; her in-laws, Betty Muesch, Harold Krebs, Wally Rettler, Tony, Lily Pfeifer, Ruben, Ramona Pfeifer and James Pfeifer; and her nephew Peter Muesch.
She is survived by: her children, Christine Hannes (Terry), Carolyn Bahling (Bill), Kathleen Hannes, Ken Pfeifer (Beth) and Felicia Boteler (Jerry); her grandchildren, Bob Hannes (Amanda), Kim Wiedmeyer (Brian), Jean Bahling, Sandy Westphal, Lisa Gerondale (Todd), Lindsay Bevis (Bryan), Matt Pfeifer (Brandi Young), Jeremy Pfeifer (Tina), Brian Boehlen (Moriah) and Kayla Dunn (Robin); her sisters, Gertie Krebs and Anna Marie Rettler; her sister-in-law Marlene Muesch; and also Barb Bonlender (Al). She is also survived by 20 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Katie are appreciated to St. Lawrence Parish, St. Lawrence Fire Department or Kathy Hospice.
