He was predeceased by: his parents, Aurelio Tabares and Maria Guadalupe Tabares. He is survived by: his children, Julissa Tabares and Adrian Tabares; his grandchildren, Gabriel N. Tabares, Justin J. Enders, Jr., Tristan T. Enders, Samantha G. Tabares, Alyssandra C. Tabares and Aidan C. Tabares; and his siblings, Petra, Anna, Domingo and Isidro. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
