He was predeceased by: his parents, Julia Margaret and John Mahlon Gordon; his father-in-law Frederick Ellis Carpenter; his son-in-law Christopher Fohl; and his siblings-in-law, Carolyn Gordon and John Carpenter.
He is survived by: his wife Edith June Carpenter; his children, Amy Rebekah Gordon (Charles Grant) of Madison, Melissa Joy Abrahamson (Matthew) of Waunakee, Caleb John Gordon (Kassey) of Milwaukee and Cherie June Budreau (Troy) of New Haven, MI; his grandchildren, Rhiannon, Myria, Marlena, Maelyn, Levi, Myles, Carson, Clayton, Kaylee, Lukas, Alise and Karis; and his siblings, Jan, Rev. Michael, Tim, Mark, Sue, David and Steve. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and many other relatives and friends.
