He was predeceased by: his parents, James Collins and Erna Collins; his siblings, Nancy Henke, Joan Walsh and James Collins, Jr.; his siblings-in-law, Lyanne Collins, Tom Walsh, Keith Jones (Butch) and David Zimmerman (Butch); and his parents-in-law, Norman and Virginia Zimmerman.
He is survived by: his wife Darlene M. Zimmerman of Slinger; his children, John Collins, Jr. of Waukesha and Stephanie Sheahan (Matthew) of Hales Corners; his grandchildren, Stella, Mya and Dylan Sheahan; his sisters, Lilybeth (Walter Dais), Janet Jones (Sam Wasley) of Hartford, Judy Guntly (Frank) of Genoa City, Diann Kopp (Earl) of New Lisbon and Maryann Collins of Hartford; and his siblings-in-law, Evarist Henke of Thompson and Jolene Zimmerman of Pardeeville. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
