Jeffrey J. Kolins Obituary

Jeffrey J. Kolins of Hartford, WI passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 13th, 2022 at the age of 65 in Milwaukee, WI. He was surrounded by loving family and friends in his final days and accompanied by his wife in his final moments. Jeff is survived by his wife, Martha L. Kolins (nee Gilge) and his daughters, Katherine Kolins (fiancé Andrew Daugherty) and Kimberly (Nathan) Koller (nee Kolins). He is further survived by his stepmother, Marianne Kolins (nee Prillwitz), his brothers, Joseph (Natalie) Kolins and Jason (Angela) Kolins, and stepsisters, Adrianne (Dan) Fechter (nee Waters) and Rosie (Jim) Nieznanski (nee Twete), as well as cousins, nieces, nephews, and other family. He is preceded in death by his father, Jim Kolins, mother, Alice Kolins (nee Roehsler), and brother, John Kolins.

He was a proud Marine since 1975. He was also a regular attendee of Northbrook Church in Richfield, WI. Professionally, he was a Project Engineer for Proex Food, overseeing projects for food processing equipment domestically and internationally. He was a devoted husband, father, brother, son, and friend. His happiest moments were spent with family and friends making lifelong memories that will forever be cherished. He was a father-figure and mentor to many that needed guidance and helped them to understand life lessons that will never be forgotten.

The visitation for Jeff will be held on Sunday, September 18th, 2022 at the Schmidt and Bartelt funeral home in Menomonee Falls, WI from 2 to 5 p.m. His funeral service will follow visitation at 5 p.m.

In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate donations to the American Heart Association or Wounded Warrior Project.
