With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jean L. Werner of Hartford, Wisconsin, born in Plymouth, New Hampshire, who passed away on May 7, 2022 at the age of 96. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Jean L. Werner to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary A. Woodward and Frank Sawyer Woodward; her former husband Robert Walters; her husband William "Bill" Werner; her sisters, Olive and Leslie; her son Robert "Bobby" Walters; and her grandson Jason Walters.

She is survived by: her children, Thomas Walters (Elaine), Terre Woodward, Anne Walters, Robin Rateau (Dan), James Young (CeCe) and William Werner (Shellie); and her cousin Peg Goodwin. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, and 20 greatgrandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Jean are appreciated to the Defenders of Wildlife, in care of Terre Woodward.
