He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernice Scharpf and Clarence Scharpf; and his brother Philip Scharpf. He is survived by: his wife Barbara; his sons, Chad Scharpf and Eric Scharpf; his daughter-in-law Krista Scharpf; and his siblings, Richard Scharpf (Carol), Donald Scharpf (Marcia) and Jean Scharpf. He is also survived by relatives and friends.
