He was predeceased by: his parents, Glenn 'Butch' and Anna Lechner (Metz); and his brothers-in-law, Fred Darling and Leonard Laufenberg. He is survived by: his siblings, Jerome Smith, Patricia Darling of West Bend, John Smith (June) of Hartford and Charlotte Laufenberg of Iron Ridge; and his pet Rueger. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
