James Hefter Obituary

We are sad to announce that on September 12, 2018, at the age of 67, James Hefter (Hartford, Wisconsin) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Dennis Hefter and Doris Hefter; his parents-in-law, Jack Degeneffe and Sally Degeneffe; his sister-in-law Anne Hefter; and his nephew Andrew Sauer.

He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Hefter; his children, Anne Baizley (Garry Jr.), Susan Hefter (Jeremy Garbisch) and Beth Bartelt (Rick); his grandchildren, Alec, Jared, Paige Baizley, Morgan Garbisch, Brooklyn, Jake and Reese Bartelt; his siblings, Robert, Sharon Benson, Nancy Hefter (Howard Brown), Gary (Rosanne) and Ron; and his siblings-in-law, Elizabeth Janz (Bill Cantrell), Jacquie Wiedmeyer (Vern), Barb Sauer (Jim), Connie Breuer (Garry), Mary Karius (Mike), Nancy Breuer (Mark), Judy Krueger (Bruce), Cindy Schellinger (Mark), Mike Degeneffe, Janet Brugger (Jim) and Jenny Schulteis (John). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
