He was predeceased by: his parents, Simeon Rivard and Pauline Rivard; his brothers, Joseph Rivard (Mary) and Robert Rivard; his grandchildren, Simon Nosacek and Samuel Nosacek; and his brother-in-law Al Mitchell.
He is survived by: his wife Alice; his children, Edward Rivard (Donna), Jeanne Rivard, Jim Rivard (Michelle) and Rosanne Nosacek (Tom); his grandchildren, Jacob, Luke, Eric Rivard, Ben, Tyler, Nick, Jamie, Michael, David, Joseph, John-Paul, Augustine, Regina Rivard, Evan, Eli, Brea, Rebecca and Isaac Nosacek; his siblings, Mary Ann Mitchell and Francis Rivard (Colleen); and his sister-in-law Arlene Rivard. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
