He was predeceased by: his son Charles "Chuck"; and his parents, Edward and Dorothy. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn; his children, Steven (Jodi Dean) and Kristin Chronister (Dan Sr.); his grandchildren, Brandon, Melanie (Anthony), Dan Jr., Dustin and Kendra; his daughter-in-law Kathy Grudzinski; and his brother Joe.

Memorials in Eddie's memory may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church or charity of donor's choice.
