He was predeceased by: his grandson Christopher; his brother John (Ruth); his brother-in-law Jeff Konrath (Chris); and his parents, Donald Wieting and Katie Wieting.
He is survived by: his wife Janet; his children, LeAnn Peters, E. J. Wieting (Suzanne Skorbier), Carla Konrath and Rebecca Wieting (Patrick Mcgonigal); his grandchildren, Matthew, Michael, Dylan, Issaiah, Elijah, Raine, Malachi, Jamie, Alana, Tyler, Kyle, Brooklyn, Kegan and Patrick Jr.; his great grandchildren, Noah and Asealiah; and his siblings, Robert (Donna), Jerome (Kathy), Julie Pfister (Paul) and Donna Schwedler.
This was a 5 year battle and Ed was close to receiving the gift of his liver transplant but unfortunately Covid took his life.
