He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin Zastrow and Hilda Zastrow (Yoeckel); his parents-in-law, John and Norma Schouten; his brother Merlin Zastrow; and his sisters-in-law, Marilyn Metz and Joan Schouten.
He is survived by: his wife Diana Schouten; his children, Darren (Carol), Darla Garbedian (Charles) and David (Rebecca); his grandchildren, Joan Zimmer (Dan), Jessica, Jennifer, Benjamin, Allison and Evan; his great grandchildren, Alexa and Joseph; and his sister-in-law Deloris Zastrow. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
