It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Cara Lynn Scherer of Hartford, Wisconsin, born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, who passed away on August 22, 2020, at the age of 62, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, John Latz and Patricia Latz; her husband Paul D. Scherer; her daughters, Sara Otte (Brad) of Hustisford and Paula Schmitz (Andrew) of Slinger; her grandson James Otte; her parents-in-law, Arthur and Francis Scherer; and her siblings, John Latz (Jack), Robin Probst and Kenneth Latz.

In lieu of flowers or plants, memorials to the family are preferred.
