He was predeceased by: his children, Mark Borst (Sydney) of Lake Geneva, WI, Daniel Borst (Aubrey) of Valparaiso, IN and Teresa Freund (Evan) of Genoa City, WI. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Borst of Harshaw; and his siblings-in-law, Lois Borst of Woodruff, WI, Shirley Borst of Pell Lake and Richard Jacobson of Spring Grove, IL.. He is also survived by 10 Grandchildren and 6 Great-Grandchildren.
