He was predeceased by: his parents, McKinley Lingenfelter and Cecil Lingenfelter (Vaughan); his son Doug; his children-in-law, Lisa Lingenfelter and James Cross; and his sister Nancy Karg.
He is survived by: his wife Connie Omitt; his children, Greg Lingenfelter (Marla), Janine Wurzer (Mike), Dan Omitt and Chad Omitt (Emily); his grandchildren, Nick Lingenfelter (Taylor), Alex Lingenfelter (Nikki), Ian Lingenfelter, Luke Cross (Danielle), Stepanie Grossman (David), Hannah Studer (Derek), Nora DePas (Landin), Jake, Katie Omitt, Nolan, Joshua, Evan and Lauren Omitt; and his great grandchildren, Avery Lingenfelter, Hadley, Hayes Lingenfelter, Evelyn Studer, Connor, Addie, Riley and Charlotte Cross. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Faith Lutheran Church (9160 Church Rd, Harshaw, WI 54529). A memorial service was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the same location.
