Eugene Battist Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Eugene Battist of Harshaw, Wisconsin, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 2, 2025 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Irvin Battist and Catherine Battist (Hanson); and his siblings, Leone Niebler, Charles Battist, Wilbur Battist, Norman Battist and Marion Kozma.
He is survived by: his wife Bettyann of Harshaw; his son Tim (Karen) of Beloit; his grandsons, Matthew and Paul (Micheala); his son Robb (Christine) of Maple Grove, MN; and his grandsons, Alexander and Harrison. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Ascension Lutheran Church (7937 US-51, Minocqua, WI 54548). A memorial service was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 at 11:45 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests memorials be directed to the Never Forgotten Honor Flight in Wausau or Ascension Lutheran Church in Minocqua.
