Verhasselt; his children, Nicole Shuma (Scott) and Belvidere; his grandchildren, Walter Verhasselt, Andrew Verhasselt (Erin), Jessica Gianos (Steve), David Shuma, Derik Verhasselt and Riley Verhasselt; and his siblings, Paulette Neis, Diane Halfman (Gary), Elmer Verhasselt, Gregory Verhasselt and Roger Verhasselt (Marilyn). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and special friends.
